About this ranking
This is Coaster Index's tallest coasters ranking for Ohio, covering the top 25 operating installations in the state by height. State-level rankings are useful for planning a road trip without leaving a single state — most U.S. coaster destinations cluster within a few hours of each other, and a state-level shortlist makes it possible to design a multi-park weekend that hits two or three ranked coasters in a single trip.
The list pulls from every coaster we hold for Ohio, filtered to those with valid height data and sorted automatically.
