The 2010s Coasters decade reflects the engineering, business and cultural pressures of its era — from the post-war return to leisure travel to the launched-coaster arms race that defined the 2000s. Reading a decade as a unit makes it easier to see how the industry evolved and which installations defined each chapter of that evolution.
The list below collects every installation we hold for the period, sorted by opening year. Many of these coasters are still operating today, while others have been refurbished, retracked into hybrid layouts or removed entirely. Decade-based browsing is also a useful way to find historic coasters worth a pilgrimage. The oldest operating wooden rides in the country belong to a small fraternity that have outlived multiple ownership changes and major refurbishments, and a visit to a well-preserved early installation is a meaningfully different experience to riding a modern launched steel coaster.
