The ride
Python is a steel roller coaster built by Pinfari on its Compact Family Coaster platform at Coney Island in Sunlite Water Adventure, Ohio, having opened to the public in 1999. After 27 seasons of operation it remains one of the defining attractions on the Coney Island midway, drawing repeat riders who track every subtle change to its trains, restraints and station soundtrack.
